Viva 365 Insurance Brokers partnered with ForRangers, a charity that was set up 6 years ago to address welfare issues of rangers on the frontline of protecting wildlife by supporting the annual 220km UltraMARAthon held in Kenya across Laikipia, this was also in partnership with Beyond The Ultimate and Save The Rhino. Viva sponsored a water stop for Kes 100,000 to help the marathon cover some costs which included helicopter support, infrastructure, and logistics. The funds raised in the race will help in buying equipment and uniforms – all of which will equip rangers, improve their living standards, pay their life and health insurance, Medevacs, and other elements of welfare for the men who protect the wilderness and wildlife. In addition, the Viva team had the opportunity to cheer on the marathon participants at the finish line. Viva looks forward to supporting more events that not only support rangers and wildlife but encourage environmental conservation.
