Viva 365 Insurance Brokers was glad to sponsor a tree planting initiative at Inkiito primary school, Kajiado County. The initiative was held in partnership with Hearts of Green Foundation who were the Event Organizers, with support from the Kajiado County government represented by the Deputy Governor HE. Martin Moshisho, The Kenya AirForce, Kenya Forest Club, other partners, and the local community.
During the event, together we planted 2000 trees at the school under “Adopt a Tree Program.” In addition to this, we officially launched Inkiito Primary tree nursery that will raise 20,000 tree seedlings. The tree seedlings will then be distributed in schools and institutions in the county.
In support of the government’s goal to plant 15 billion trees in the next 10 years to raise Kenya’s tree cover to 30 per cent by 2032, Viva 365 Insurance Brokers has committed to partner with Inkiito Primary school for 3 years, to ensure sustainable growth of the planted trees.
